Daejeon Language Exchange (대전 언어교환 모임)

The Daejeon Language Exchange is nurio's weekly in-person meetup where Korean locals and international residents practise Korean and English in small rotating groups. It meets every week in Daejeon. Seats are reserved only on nurio.kr, with a single ticket or a multi-event pass.

How to register for the Daejeon language exchange

Registration is only through nurio.kr. Our Meetup group and Instagram (@nurio.language) announce events, but they cannot reserve a seat for you.

Create a free nurio account with Google, Kakao or Naver — no password needed.
Open the events list, choose a Daejeon date and tap Reserve. Pay with a single ticket or a multi-event pass; the price is shown on each event page.
Check your confirmation email for the venue, start time and what to expect, then just show up.

How do I register for the Daejeon language exchange?

Sign in to nurio.kr with Google, Kakao or Naver, open Events, pick a Daejeon date and tap Reserve. Registration happens only on nurio.kr, and each event is paid with a single ticket or an event pass.

Do I need Meetup or Instagram to join?

No. The nurio Meetup group and Instagram account (@nurio.language) only announce events. To attend you must reserve a seat on nurio.kr — pre-registration is required and a Meetup RSVP does not count.

When and where is the Daejeon language exchange held?

It meets every week in Daejeon. The current venue is TBD; each event page on nurio.kr shows the exact start time, address and map link.

How much does the Daejeon language exchange cost?

Each meetup is paid: buy a single ticket for one event, or a multi-event pass with a lower per-event price. Prices are shown on each event page, and you can pay by card, KakaoPay, NaverPay or TossPay.

Does nurio host parties in Daejeon?

Yes. nurio regularly hosts the Daejeon International Party, an evening event with food, drinks, group rotations and games for locals and international residents. Dates and tickets are posted on nurio.kr/events.

Can I join if my Korean or English is basic?

Yes. All levels are welcome and most people come alone. A host runs the rotations with both Korean time and English time, so beginners and native speakers each get to practise.
