Terms of Service

This is a summary translation of the official Korean Terms of Service. For legal purposes, the Korean version takes precedence.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Nomadiq (the "Company") and users regarding the use of internet-related services provided by the Nurio online platform (the "Platform").

※ These terms also apply to e-commerce conducted via PC, mobile, and other electronic means, to the extent not inconsistent with the nature of such transactions.

Article 2 (Definitions)

  1. "Platform" refers to the virtual business location established by Nomadiq using information and communication facilities such as computers to enable transactions of goods or services, and also refers to the business operator operating the Platform.
  2. "User" refers to members and non-members who access the Platform and receive services provided by the Platform in accordance with these Terms.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member of the Platform and can continuously use the services provided by the Platform.
  4. "Non-member" refers to a person who uses the services provided by the Platform without registering as a member.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

  1. The Platform shall post the contents of these Terms, company name, representative's name, business address, telephone number, email address, business registration number, and mail-order business registration number on the initial service screen.
  2. The Platform may amend these Terms within the scope of relevant laws including the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
  3. When amending these Terms, the Platform shall specify the effective date and reasons for amendment and post them on the initial screen at least 7 days before the effective date.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)

  1. The Platform performs the following services:
    • Providing information on goods or services and concluding purchase contracts
    • Delivery of goods or services under purchase contracts
    • Other services determined by the Platform
  2. The Platform may change the content of goods or services to be provided under future contracts in case of sold-out products or changes in technical specifications.

Article 5 (Service Interruption)

  1. The Platform may temporarily suspend service provision in case of maintenance, replacement, or failure of information and communication equipment.
  2. The Platform shall compensate users for damages caused by temporary service suspension, except where the Platform proves absence of intention or negligence.

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

  1. Users apply for membership by filling in member information according to the registration form set by the Platform and expressing their agreement to these Terms.
  2. The Platform registers applicants as members unless they fall under specific disqualifying conditions.

Article 7 (Membership Withdrawal and Disqualification)

  1. Members may request withdrawal from the Platform at any time, and the Platform shall process the withdrawal immediately.
  2. The Platform may restrict or suspend membership if a member registers false information, fails to pay debts, interferes with others' use, or violates laws or public order.

Article 8-14 (Notifications, Purchases, Contracts, Payments, Delivery, Refunds)

These articles cover notification methods to members, purchase application procedures, contract formation, payment methods, order confirmation and cancellation, delivery of goods, and refund procedures. The Platform follows standard e-commerce practices and Korean consumer protection laws.

Article 15 (Withdrawal of Subscription)

  1. Users may withdraw their subscription within 7 days from the date of receiving written confirmation of the contract.
  2. Withdrawal is not permitted when goods are destroyed or damaged due to user's fault, value has significantly decreased due to use, or packaging of reproducible goods has been damaged.

Article 16-17 (Effects of Withdrawal, Privacy Protection)

Upon return of goods, the Platform refunds payments within 3 business days. The Platform collects minimum personal information necessary for service provision, obtains consent for collection and use, and takes responsibility for protecting personal information.

Article 18-20 (Platform Obligations, User ID/Password, User Obligations)

The Platform shall not engage in acts prohibited by law and shall provide stable services. Users are responsible for managing their IDs and passwords and shall not engage in prohibited activities including false registration, identity theft, copyright infringement, and posting inappropriate content.

Article 21-24 (Linked Platforms, Copyright, Dispute Resolution, Jurisdiction)

Copyrights to content created by the Platform belong to the Platform. Disputes between the Platform and users shall be resolved through dispute mediation institutions, and Korean law applies to e-commerce lawsuits.
